Boonville holds off Tell City

TELL CITY - Tell City dominated No. 1 and 2 singles but lost to Boonville 3-2 in girls tennis Thursday.

Kathi Kassen defeated Ginny Wright 6-0, 6-1 in No. 1 singles.

Bethany Peter beat Marissa Hodges 6-1, 6-1 in No. 2.

Stephani Wrye played a close first set in No. 3 singles before losing to Sarah Foley 6-4, 6-2.

Boonville also won both doubles matches.

Erika Katterjohn and Chloe Likping beat Alisha Patton and Trish Solbrig 6-2, 6-4 in No. 1 doubles.

Fancy Conner and Amy Ward beat Kari Gladish and Jenelle Clausen 6-1, 6-2 in No. 2.
