BOONVILLE—Tell City won two singles matches but lost to Boonville 3-2 in girls tennis Thursday.
Cassie Bryant beat Macy Dimmett 6-2, 6-0 in No. 2 singles and Kelsey Gowers defeated Kailey Koop 6-1, 6-0 for the Marksmen’s victories.
“Cassie and Kelsey played very well,” said Tell City Coach Nick Weyer.
Boonville’s Mired Bontigui defeated Addie Peter 6-2, 6-3 in No. 1 singles.
The Pioneers also won both doubles matches. Abi Gober and Ashley Johnson beat Megan Teague and Mercedes Mendez 6-4, 6-1 in No. 1.
