Big parade Sunday in Cannelton

CANNELTON – To commemorate 175 years of Cannelton history, the Cannelton Foundation has planned numerous events, activities and contests for visitors to enjoy.

The week-long celebration will kick off Sunday with the Cannelton 175th Celebration parade. The parade route will start at 2 p.m. at the intersection of Old Highway 237 and Indiana 66 in Cannelton. The parade will then travel to Washington Street and precede the length of that street to First Street (the floodwall).
