Benham, Wolfpack slug Bulldogs

CANNELTON - Bo Benham hit for the cycle as Crawford County beat Cannelton 11-0 in baseball Wednesday.

The Wolfpack's Richard Edwards pitched a one-hitter, striking out 10 and walking two.

Justin Dooley led off the bottom of the fifth inning for Cannelton with a double.

But a strikeout, a ground out and a strikeout followed, stranding him at second and ending the game by the 10-run rule.

Ethan Herzog pitched the first three innings for Cannelton to take the loss and Tyler Aud pitched the last two innings. They each struck out two and walked none.

The Bulldogs had three starters missing - two at a welding class and one at a track meet.

Cannelton, 1-13, will visit Tell City today at 5 p.m.
