TELL CITY – On Sunday, Aug. 3, Ashley Hall stopped breathing and her heart stopped. She was lifeflighted to Owensboro Medical Health System, where she was kept in intensive care on a ventilator. Although she is now off the ventilator and is expected to fully recover, the doctors are not sure what caused her condition and are still running tests. Her family is now facing an enormous burden of medical bills.

Ashley Hall is 23 years old. She and her husband, David, reside in Tell City with their daughters, Kylee, 3, and Madison, 1.

On Wednesday, Aug. 13, friends of Ashley will hold a bake sale at the farmers market at the Tell City Depot beginning at 4 p.m.

T-shirt orders are also being taken. The front of the shirt will say “Ashley Strong” and the back will have Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” The shirts are black with pink and orange lettering. Cost is $15 per T-shirt and all proceeds will benefit the family. To purchase a shirt, call or text Meredith Campbell at (270) 570-5148 with name, contact info and T-shirt size.
