BRISTOW – A benefit to raise funds for Lois Aders will be from 9 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Saturday at the Bristow Community Center.
Aders has myeloma, a type of bone cancer that is not curable. She was in re-mission for six months before the cancer returned. Her condition has now progressed and doctors are putting her on a new form of chemotherapy.
The cost of this treatment is $8,000 per month. After insurance, Aders will have to pay $2,000 per month.
