Baumeister set to graduate Kentucky Wesleyan

TELL CITY – Cassandra Baumeister will graduate Saturday, May 14 from Kentucky Wesleyan College with a bachelor’s degree in education with an emphasis on special education K-12 and social studies.
During her time at Kentucky Wesleyan College, she maintained a 3.40 grade average and was on the dean’s list for seven semesters.
She was one of 38 nominees for the Oak and Ivy Award during the 2008-09 school year, of which four students received the award.
She is currently working at Cannelton High School as a part-time teacher.
Baumeister is the daughter of Dawn and Charlie Baumeister and granddaughter of Janet and Charlie Hubbard and the late Vera and Clement (Red) Baumeister, all of Tell City.
