TELL CITY—Coca-Cola and Kiwanis each placed four players on Tell City’s age-14 Babe Ruth all-star team announced last week.

Franzman Insurance, which had a young team, led the age-13 all-star team with five selections.

Evan Rothgerber is managing the age-14 team and Wes Deom is the age-13 team’s manager.

There were not enough 15-year-olds in the league to have an age-15 all-star team this year.

Tell City, which was moved from District 4 to District 5 this year, will host the age-14 district all-star tourney this weekend.

Tell City will play North Harrison in the first game of the three-team, double-elimination tourney Saturday at 10 a.m. at Kiwanis Park.

The age-13 district tourney will be at Corydon this weekend. Tell City will face Friends of Harrison County in the first round of that tourney Saturday at 10 a.m.
