LYNNVILLE - Zach Avallone won the 50-yard freestyle to lead Tell City to fourth place in the PAC boys swim meet Saturday.
Southridge won the seven-team meet with 289 points. Tell City scored 225.
Avallone, a senior in just his second year on the swim team, swam the 50 free in 23.77 seconds.
"He broke 24 seconds for the first time," noted Tell City Coach Mike Page.
Avallone, Nick Bower, Greg Clayton and Isaac Schaefer placed second in the 200 free relay in 3:48.07.
Tell City freshman Justin Peter took second in the 100 backstroke in 1:04.14.
