Arts grant workshop set for Feb. 10 at library

TELL CITY - The Jasper Community Arts Commission will offer grant applications for arts funding for the coming year.

The JCAC's Regional Arts Partnership provides regranting of public funds to support arts organizations and the arts activities of other public and nonprofit organizations within the six counties known as Region 11 (Crawford, Daviess, Dubois, Martin, Orange, and Perry counties).

The newest cycle of applications will be available to organizations from July 2010 to June 2011. Applications and guidelines are available at www. jasperarts.org or by calling (812) 482-3070.

JCAC will host a series of meetings about the application process throughout the region. Organization representatives may take materials pertaining to their organization's plans for the 2011 fiscal year.

Specific assistance on the applications can be discussed during the grant workshop or individual consultations may be scheduled during the application period.

The meetings will also serve as a forum for discussion with members of the community being asked to provide input toward regional services planning and determination of priorities in the coming years.

The Perry County meeting will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 10 at the Tell City-Perry County Public Library.
