TELL CITY – The Alzheimer’s Association invites the public to join the annual Tri-County Memory Walk, Oct. 9 at Tell City Junior-Senior High School. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the walk will start at 9.

This annual event helps raise awareness and funds to fight Alzheimer’s disease in southern Indiana and across the nation and is organized by the Greater Kentucky and Southern Indiana Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.

The Tri-County Memory Walk is one of nearly a dozen being organized in the chapter’s service area this year. Last year’s walk gathered more than 150 walkers and raised more than $15,000.  The Tri-County Memory Walk covers Dubois, Perry and Spencer counties.
