Commissioners express concern about costs

TELL CITY - Humane Society of Perry County President Jim Carter wants the Perry County commissioners to take on some of the responsibility his organization has been shouldering for dogs and cats hit by cars.

He appeared at a regular meeting of the county leaders Monday, and noted the county's agreement with the animal shelter provides no procedure for dealing with injured animals.
