Jackson believes he carried out duties well
TELL CITY - Perry County's animal-control officer has stepped down from the job he held since July.
Micah Jackson submitted a letter of resignation earlier this month, saying he was looking for other opportunities. His last day was Thursday.
"The past 10 months have been very rewarding. I enjoyed being part of a very successful team dedicated to animal control," Jackson wrote.
During that time, Jackson responded to nearly 300 calls and captured 100 dogs and several cats.
