BRISTOW – Anderson Woods Inc. announced its 36th annual special-needs summer camp for people with disabilities will begin June 3 and run weekly for eight weeks. Each session begins on a Monday morning and lasts until the following Thursday afternoon when the campers return to their homes. The first four sessions will be for children with the remaining four sessions reserved for adult campers.
Many campers with Down syndrome, autism and other disabilities attend. The camp can accommodate most disabilities except those confining people to wheelchairs due to its terrain.
