Our father, Douglas R. Partenheimer was diagnosed with IPF in April 2006. He lost his battle with this disease on January 14, 2010 — just short of a transplant. Looking to satisfy the desire to raise money for research, as well as raise awareness of this little known disease, we looked to one of our father’s passions and hobbies: car shows. Our father was a wonderful, God-fearing man, who loved his family, friends, and community. He lived in Holland, IN all of his life, was employed locally with Holland Dairies (now Prairie Farms) for 35 years, and was also a 35-yr volunteer firefighter and first responder.
