BIRDSEYE – The Patoka Lake 22nd annual star party is scheduled 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the Patoka Lake Beach.
Those attending will view a special presentation by members of the Louisville and Evansville astronomical societies and the Stonebelt Stargazers of Bedford, as they share their knowledge of the sky above. There will be kid’s activities and giveaways until dark. A special astronomy program will be held at 6:30 p.m. under the tent on the beach. Telescopes will be set up for observations of Venus and Saturn as darkness falls.
