PERRY COUNTY – The 2014 Perry County Recycling Management District annual fee assessed to all home and business owners in Perry County are due Saturday.
Bills not paid or postmarked by the due dates will be considered late and a late fee of $20 will be added to the original $32, for a total of $52, according to Ken Smith, executive director for the district.
Mobile homes on land owned by someone else are considered personal property, he said, and bills for them will be mailed to mobile-home owners approximately March 20. They will be due May 17. Bills not returned to the district by the post office will be considered delivered to property owners, who will be responsible for payment, Smith also said, adding that any home or business owner who has not received a bill is responsible to contact the recycling management district office for fee payment.
Anyone who has questions should contact the office at 547-9787. Weekday business hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
